The Ingram Planetarium reopened to the public on Thursday, February 2, featuring their new projection system, Digistar 7.
The Digistar 7 system provides better quality images, comes with a cloud library of content, and can livestream visuals gathered from the International Space Station. The Planetarium’s 360-degree immersive dome theater can now show real time images of the atmosphere, weather, and galaxy—even black holes!
The new system will also bring stunning new backdrops to our laser light shows. Digistar 7 offers a chance to take your stargazing experience to the next level.
Show schedules are available on the Planetarium’s website at; https://museumplanetarium.org/planetarium-events/. Whether you’re an amateur stargazer or an avid astronomer, our shows feature live and interactive content that allow you to learn about our universe in a fun and engaging way
