Every Sunday in April and May at 3:00 pm visitors to Ingram Planetarium have the opportunity to experience the planet Mars through the interactive, custom, and virtual reality experience, Mission Mars.
Get a taste of what it might be like to venture to a Mars research colony in this interactive game-like experience. Solve challenges to gather data and resolve real life complications to avoid danger and repair the base.
At the end of the experience set off on an independent VR expedition to the surface of Mars! This activity is best for groups of four to eight people, with participants being at least eight years of age.
Ingram Planetarium is located at 7625 High Market Street in Sunset Beach, NC. Admission to the planetarium theater is free for members. Non-member all-day admission effective March 31, 2022 is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors (62+), $8 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under.
