Celebrate Easter Weekend with Coastal-themed Festivities at the Museum of Coastal Carolina’s Family Day March 30
Celebrate the Easter holiday weekend with coastal-themed festivities at the Museum of Coastal Carolina’s annual Family Day on Saturday, March 30 from 10 am – 2 pm. Museum visitors of all ages will enjoy carnival-style games, crafts, and family-friendly activities including shark tooth necklaces, straw rockets, a pirate ring toss, and more.
Bring your appetite, because food trucks including Tasty Tee’s Snack Shack, Chocolate and S’more, and Sunset Slush will be on site throughout the event. Cape Fear Raptor Ambassadors will provide a close look at live birds of prey and, thanks to Fairytales and Dreams by the Sea’s expertise in bringing fairytales to life, visitors can have their pictures taken with a mermaid!
Everyone is a kid on family day! All visitors will be able to visit the Museum at the child’s rate of $8 per person. Activity tickets are sold separately at $5 for 10 tickets and $10 for 25 tickets.
Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium Education Manager Jamie Justice schedules and facilitates all Family Programs. Justice received her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Science in Environmental Science with concentrations in Marine and Coastal Education and Coastal Management from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
