Word Weavers International Coastal Carolinas writing group, which meets at the SW Brunswick Branch Library, will host an event on June 5 – The Craft of Storytelling: The Stories Behind the Stories. It is Free and open to the General Public.
The event begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Free Spirit Conservatory located at 8840 Old Georgetown Road SW in Sunset Beach. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet 13 local authors and purchase their books.
Drinks, including wine and beer, will be available throughout the event. A Panel of five writers presents at 7:00 p.m. and attendees may linger until 8:30 p.m.
The Author Panel includes: Teri M. Brown (Character versus Plot-Driven Fiction); Henry Hack (Publishing Process); Karen Whalen (Secrets of Mystery Writing); Karen Walczyk Prescott (Documenting Ancestry through Storytelling); and Lynda Stear (Creative Nonfiction Writing).
Jennifer E. Tirrell will emcee the event and Michell Murray, a local musician, will sing to close the program.
