Sunset Beach sustained very minimal damage and for most businesses it “business as usual” at our island beach!
Power was restored relatively quickly and the town moved with speed to restore water and sewer services.
While many areas of the state of North Carolina were heavily impacted Sunset Beach was spared only receiving minor exterior damage. Our beaches have shown very little damage and a majority of the homes on Sunset Beach were not impacted severely.

We are so fortunate to have made it through this storm relatively unscathed.
Please keep the rest of our state who did not in your thoughts and prayers as they rebuild and deal with the aftermath of this terrible storm.
