Join John Henry Harrelson from the NC Wildlife Resources Commission for a presentation on alligators. The program will cover their biology and natural history in North Carolina, the latest ongoing research the NC Wildlife Resources Commission is conducting, as well as how to coexist with alligators in your community.
John Henry Harrelson is a North Carolina native, raised in the rural, northern piedmont area. Harrelson attended NC State University for undergraduate and Louisiana State University (LSU) for his master’s degree, both in wildlife management. He has been a professional biologist for 13 years, split between southern Louisiana and North Carolina and is currently the district 4 Wildlife Biologist for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Harrelson resides in Cumberland County, with his wife, Katy, and 2 daughters.
