Enjoy the festival of trees, White Beard the Pirate Claus and play in the snow at the Museum of Coastal Carolina’s “HoliDAY at the Museum” on Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the beach-themed holiday celebration for the whole family, guests can make and take home beach-themed crafts and play with snow at the beach, learn about how animals live in the snow and other fun science activities. Shiver me timbers! The Museum has been warned that White Beard the Pirate Clause will dock his ship, invade HoliDAY, and share pirate booty with all children.
HoliDAY visitors can also stroll through the Museum’s enchanting 6th Annual Festival of Trees, admire trees artfully decorated by area businesses and nonprofits, and engage in friendly competition by voting for and bidding on their favorite trees.
Chocolate and S’more food truck will be on site with delectable holiday treats for purchase and Vicki Paints will offer face painting for an additional charge. All other activities are free with Museum admission: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for children 3-12.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
